i agree this is the first thing that really big adapotion of BTC for the wider ausidence and there will probably be a lot of hoarders that may use their BTC on ebay, but hopefully it will lead to a larger use of BTC, not the killing of it.

Nah, ebay will offer chargeback for buyers in BTC, they’ll raise direct payment minimums, they’ll ban coin addresses in communications, and they’ll give the buyer an escrow address to send to.
Oh and all those funds ebay likes to hold for 180 (now 45) days? With BTC they’ll dump them. BTC will crash, they’ll buy cheap coins, while you lose money.
Chargeback is a buyer advantage, no chargeback is a seller advantage. Either party can commit fraud and it’s pathetic to see people only considering one side.
