New Exposure for Feathercoin?

I think we could increase our visibility by attending Bitcoin or Crypto meet ups in our areas, they’re normally free to attend unless it’s conference or something.
Blogging is a good idea too, so if we have any bloggers out there?
-
There isn’t one in my area. Perhaps I should start one!
-
Oh yes, this year I started a group in Oxfordshire ‘Oxford Crypto Group’ I did have to pay about £30 to set up for 6 months on meetup.com and I have had a few people join, also it’s free to start a group on FB :)
-
Facebook group “Cumbria Bitcoin and Crypto Currency Group” created. Lets see where I can take this.
-

Great thought. What action do we take as a community to ensure that happens?
You know what I saw in the last 48 hours? Dogecoin Tips being handed out in massive amounts to people on Reddit who have posted about losing coins on Gox. A very calculated and ingenious strategy.
Not saying we should do that - but it’s definitely another great example of why Dogecoin is moving so fast. There are some seriously smart kids/people pushing it. It’s got the added bonus of a low valuation, so vast amounts can be given at low loss.
That and the Jamaican bob-sled team sponsorship thing. It didn’t go as planned, but it still did so much.
Maybe we need to brainstorm some more low-cost initiatives. I know Chekaz is on point with donating to game channels. Uncle_muddy’s Prostate donation is pretty great too. I’m sure there’s even more great ideas waiting to be put into practice here.
I agree. Check out this move and exposure: http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/26/tech/innovation/dogecoin-cryptocurrency-tech-irpt/
