    \[ANN\] I need your help for Coinfest!!

      Hey guys.

      So I just got word from Coinfest and we are officially sponsoring them. The FTC that was put up generously by Bushstar will be used to print our logos on Coinfest merchandise and banners, Coinfest will also promote us on social media. The money we put up also got us a booth at Coinfest and an entry to a technical conference. The booth however is empty right now as I really don’t own a fancy rig or FTC related merchandise to show to people. I spoke to Chris about this and he has asked me to pester you all for some help with this.

      The booth is of decent size and can accommodate a few things quite easily. I have seen some members of the community such as netnerd making those amazing FTC coins. Now I would just buy some of the coins from netnerd but my finances are being focused on Coinfest, so embarrassingly I am strapped for cash to acquire items from netnerd or any of you.

      If you feel that you can donate some items to me to show at Coinfest then please do get in touch with me or Chris. Anything that you think is worth showing, I am happy to show (I like they way I worded this sentence).

      That being said, I am also putting up 50 FTC from my end to give away on paper wallets. Its not a lot but if there are any of you who would like to contribute some more FTC please get in touch with me.

      I am still looking for people in the Vancouver area to help me promote FTC at Coinfest. Having a booth and promotion is all good but I feel a face to face with people will better help our cause. If you are interested, your responsibilities will range from, talking to people about FTC, walking between venues and handing out paper wallets with FTC on them, if we do get items for the booth then you will be manning the booth with me.

      I will also be talking about the FTC marketplace, the Reddit FTC exchange and the forum. However I am still looking for someone with a technical background to attend a conference on the 16th and talk about crypto-currencies in general. You don’t have to focus on FTC but you can include it in your presentation. If you are someone who possess the skill and knowledge for this please get in touch with me.

        I will do my very best to get some Physical feathercoins to you but being at the mercy of snail mail sending to america or canada or australia usually takes about 2 weeks or more. I will have a look into UPS or something but I think that it could get mighty expensive :'(
        I will produce some samples tomorrow at work and will let you know what I come up with.

            Anyone in the UK know of another service, it will be much lighter than 3kg or is this the norm minimum weight?

              I just stuck 3KG in there as I have no idea how many he was thinking of sending. I will put £ 20.00 towards the postage of hat ever it is if it helps out. I will sort out getting the money to netnerd via PM, if a couple more of us chip in then we should be able to get them over there?

                Nice one I will get some sample wallets and plain coins together, and a 1 or 2 of the large coins as featured at the Oxford Blue Jan event depending on how much time I can steal on the laser cutters, I will know more tomorrow as I am completely stacked out at work so I will be squeezing it in where I can :)

                  Thank you so much, I really really appreciate your generosity and the generosity of all the community members here. Anything you can do helps. I wish I could do more from my end to help you but I am already occupied in the paper wallets, Coinfest, Coinos and a bunch more things. If it is too expensive then its all good. I will try and manage something from here. If there is something I can do from my end, please let me know.

                      I have been able to cut a large 200mm Physical Feathercoin and a few standard 50mm coins I will turn one of them into a wallet as an example, if I could have an address to send them to PM me with this info. I will book courier tomorrow, it should take 1 - 3 days to get there.
                      I know it is not many that I am sending, but to even get these cut with the amount of work I have on at the min is a bonus, I would of liked to have sent more.
                      Let me know as time is running out. :)

                                I do not have enough words to thank you both. What you have done for this community is just awesome. I will be displaying the coins and I will try and hold an auction for them. All proceeds generated will be sent to you so you can personally donate them to the feathercoin charity. If I am not able to hold an auction, I already have a buyer ready to buy two of them. I will also be directing interested parties to you if they want to buy these coins. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. It really means a lot.

                                Also a big thank you to the community that came forward and helped me in whatever way they could. Your efforts will not go in vain, I promise you that. I will definitely take lots of pictures for you guys.

                                        If you can still sell them for whatever you can get go ahead, and we will still donate to the charity. If not keep them for yourself :)
                                        I have had an email from them saying the 17th for delivery but after the fiasco of UPS I ain’t holding my breath, they may go via India who knows ???

                                          Well the coins have now departed kentucky, dont know if they will make it, I have just seen the news and weather for USA, they have got it bad :(

                                            These coins are just sitting at the warehouse. They promised delivery by 12pm local time today. I have been waiting since 12 and it is now 5 in the afternoon. No delivery. I guess UPS pulled a fast one on us lads.
