Feathercoin Faucet Website
-
I decided to build one from scratch in my spare time today … I will have it online by tonight or tomorrow morning.
I will also share all of my code on GitHub (open source) in case anybody wants to remake their own version (will include instructions and custom graphics).
The donation wallet will be online once the site is launched. If you have any questions, let me know.

Hey, are you planning to have it based on time (ie. you can collect every 30m, hour, 6 hours, etc.) or how many people request? I’d love to add it to my faucet rotator but I can only do that if it’s based on time.

This is very cool, thank-you so much. I will feature this in the next newsletter.

For Version 0.1, it is setup as a manual / one time process.
Later updates will probably be more automated / more faucet drips depending on donations to the wallet.
I started off building the frontend and backend largely in html , but today changed it to pure PHP based on the CodeIgniter Framework + Bootstrap 3 for the UI.
I’m also having one of our designers put a nice face on the frontend and backend … just something nice to look at (other than my photoshop skills).
As mentioned the project will be open-source on Github, and can be used for ALL coin types (since its manual) … just update the text and wallet ID.
Thanks,
Ryan
:) We will host it off our server, but if anybody wants to launch their own it will be incredibly easy… taking no less than 10 minutes to install and maybe another 20-30 min to customize.
If you do end up getting an automated drip faucet going, let me know for sure. I’ve already got my rotator set up and ready for FTC; just haven’t found any faucets to add to it.
