    Need feathercoins to teach people how to use wallets, will buy or trade

      I have been using a simple approach to get people interested in crypto (feathercoin in particular).

      The process goes something like this:

      1. I get them to download the client and create wallet
      2. I walk them through the process of encrypting their wallet
      3. I have them copy and paste their public key into a text or email and send it to me
      4. I then send them 2FTC
      5. I then walk them through sending me 1FTC back
      6. Last I walk them through backing up their wallet to a USB drive.

      The whole process is so simple that if they have kids I encourage them to have the kids present to learn too. Once this is done I begin to teach them the “Value” to Feathercoin see my post:

      So I need more feathercoins to do this with. Bought the first 10 on ebay for .50USD each, (twice the exchange rate). I have used all those coins and have now educated 7 people.

      I am NOT asking for a freebie, I am completely willing to buy them for USD or trade them for something of value which I can list on the market and/or ship to you. I totally get the trust issue with paypal, but I have never charged back anyone. I can send a postal money order instead of paypal or whatever works for you? Would like to start with 100-200FTC at whatever exchange (of your choice) says they are worth at time of trade. I use

      To check values. I have lots of 96-00 Honda Civic parts (only car I really work on these days) and am pretty good at finding things if you know what your looking for. Have some laptop hard drives ranging is size from 100-600GB WD, Toshiba, that sort of thing. Couple Cutco Knives that are brand new.

      I am not very knowledgeable about international shipping, but willing to learn. To do this you must be registered forum member with rep. If I don’t hold to my agreement you can tell the forum and visa versa.
      I will be mining soon and shouldn’t need more coins, just like to keep the momentum going.

        Hi jti8899,
        I wish I had someone like you around when I started using crypto wallets; it would have made my life a little easier in the beginning. I started in Litecoin which I still use, but then joined the Feather community which has great members all helping in their own way.
        I like what you are doing and all off your own back without looking for freebies. It’s always good for people to see things from a different perspective as it broadens their horizons. I sense there’s a little prepper in you, which is what I have done for quite a few years, and it’s cool to be self-sufficient.
        It’s Christmas and I’m still feeling the spirit!!!
        I have sent you 10Ftc towards your good work, keep it up. And keep planting those flowers as I have honey with everything.

          Thanks for your support, those 10FTC will teach 9 more people: 5x2ftc sent, 5x1ftc received, 2x2ftc sent, 2x1ftc received, 1x2ftc sent, 1x1ftc received, 1x2ftc sent and finally 1x1ftc received with a balance of 1ftc still left. So at current exchange rate of .25USD you can give the gift of learning to 9 people for about 5USD. That is crazy cheap!

          Amazing how it sinks in when people complete this process. All of a sudden they are a cryto-currency user and want to learn more! They also want more ftc, so I start talking about listing on the market, selling things they don’t want, getting other friends and family involved by repeating the process, beginning to exchange amongst themselves in FTC instead of ???, etc.

          Not sure what a prepper is? I have been tagged so many times with so many strange titles and labels I am not even sure what I am? A biker, a hippy, a rebel, a non conformist, a nutjob, a tree hugger, a deadhead, a drummer, a trader (and traitor), a carpenter, a mechanic, an inventor, a Jesus freak, an academic, the list is endless. It is all so amusing when I think about it. Anyway will take it as a compliment and add it to the list lol.

          We, the “collective-effort” (my little pet project) will be doing all sorts of wild flower planting for the Bees in the spring. Without the Bees we all die, and the answer is to plant flowers without pesticides, how cool is that? Another 5USD investment in your world and life in general! Never believe you can’t make a difference.

              I still ride and have this 85 EVO 4 spd kicker tossed together from piles of parts and never quite finished. Seat is still strapped on with a nylon camping strap lol, but it’s fun!

              Then there is the never ending 99 Soft Tail project I hope to ride before I die, mixed in with the pop can solar collector project, the redesigned rocket stove in the making, the gf’s car with the spun bearings (3 years of trying to explain how oil in the trunk won’t prevent this), the compost operation, the whole collective-effort thing, geo dome greenhouses and local growers produce market (which I just had a epiphany about joining with the feathercoin thing), ohh . . . and now add a feathercoin mining operation. . .never have understood the word “bored”? Conversely I do understand the word “manic” haha
