UNOCS Launch Delay

Due to heightened security concerns, unocs.com has been delayed by 24 hours to allow DDOS and other mitigation protections to take effect. Without going into details, there’s been a lot of chatter of continued Feather attacks as well as concentrated effort to bring down the UNOCS service ASAP. In light of those events, the lead engineer on the project put a few new protections in place but needs an additional 24 hours.
Unfortunately, no-one could have planned for the ugly attacks Feather has dealt with over the last few days. You don’t spend your time and resources attacking something that doesn’t pose a real threat. We’re a strong community, this will only make us stronger in the long run.
