Linux gpu mining from usb stick
-
I like the idea of using usb stick with linux instead of windows on harddisk.
Step by step manual including linux part will be very helpfull indeed ;)Edit:
I will try it. What Linux distribution you guys prefere Slax or Mint?
Please dont tell me Ubuntu, I hate Ubuntu :) -
Ubuntu ;)

The distribution should make no big difference to the user, if the USB is set up nicely.
It should be possible to boot from the USB, drivers for Radeon cards and NVidia drivers should be included and the miner should come up with a (web-based?) configuration window at first run.
For following runs it simply should display a (web based?) status display.
To solve Problems a link to an external web site could be enough for the first version, may be even just pointing to this forum.
So the underlying Linux distribution would be more or less hidden from the user, like it is in every modern TV ;)
By the way, I work on OpenSuse, not Ubuntu, Debian, Redhat or others.
