Trying to mine with a Geforce 560 Need Help!
-
I just have been mining with my CPU at about 22KH and i want to use my GTX560 to mine but I’ve heard Cgiminer doesnt work with Nvida?!?! Is there any other way to set up a miner to my GPU?!! (Sorry if this is a newbie question >.

cgminer does work with Nvidia, it’s just doesn’t work as well with Nvidia as it does with ATI :D
so just use cgminer till you find a replacement -
there is a cudaMiner.

there is a cudaMiner.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.0
See what my problem is, I dont understand how to set that up at ALL. I would love to use cuda seeing that I have 3 Nvidia cards. I see all sorts of coding… but where do I add all that stuff. Its not even close to being normal end user friendly. Heck, I just figured out how to do the whole --scrypt thing with cgminer and how to edit the config file for it lol.
So if you could hold my hand and explain where everything goes…that would help a ton.
And yes, even with cg miner as it is for my my 660 only pulls ~55 at int set to 12. Anything above that makes my computer next to unusable lol.

Okay I got cuda to work. I went from the 55k hash to over 110
It takes some playing around with to find the sweet spot though…
WHat I ended up doing was dling everything listed and installing ( be carefull that you have C++ 08 and 10 installed too ) unpacking it all into a folder together… made a shortcut to the desktop… and then adding the flags/ site info into it.
Here is an example what the shortcut has added to it:
C:\Users\Mine\Downloads\cudaminer-2013-04-22\cudaminer.exe -i 0 -l 42x7 -C 2 -o “website” -O “username”:“Password”PSS…my 540 went from 35k to 75k with cuda. I think i put the -l 8x8 or something not sure… I am still playing around with my main card lol
I am still looking around for the best settings for my cards, but this more or less has doubled the output.
PS… when you make a shortcut to the desktop you right click on it and then select properties… then a box should pop up that allows you to add the stuff in it.

Ok I got the CUdaminer and had it working yesterday but now it doesnt work at all. When I open my launch.bat the cudaminer.exe closes immediately, what is the issue here?
Can you explain how you got it to work? I’ve installed cudaminer and I created a launch.bat file, but when I run it, I don’t think it’s detecting my card. Any help would be appreciated.
