The Technicals of Mining

Calem posted this in another topic, but it bears a discussion of it’s own:

What I thought was most insightful is the author did this amazing in depth analysis of mining, and comes to this fantastic conclusion at the end: There’s no way to win in this game the way it’s set up right now, and a new approach is required.
