Is the shoutbox removed? Niiiice!
Really hated that bug with the untouchable zone next to it.
Also, its better because answers in the shoutbox are lost eventually, but on the forum many people can benefit from answers for a long time :D

not removed, but the popup is a css format, which has been overwritten by the upgrade of the software.
it’s not used often, but I’m planning to implement it again

Let’s use this thread for a voting.

Users: please comment here, whether you want the shoutbox popup implementend again or not.

The shoutbox also can be reached via the speaker symbol in the top menu, so we only talk about the popup, that has been on the right side of the main page.

For this forum I don’t believe a shoutbox is necessary - that’s my vote.

I’m online and checking the forums every day and usually try to get to new users queries as soon as possible…I rarely…if ever, use the ShoutBox.

Also there was a weird issue with the shoutbox not showing the correct date/posting time…or maybe that was just me… can anyone else confirm ?

It’s not about the shoutbox itself. That will remain.
It’s just about the popup/pull out frame on the main page.

I also noticed the date issue with the shoutbox, so I can confirm it for the old software version.
After the upgrade the date/time of the shouts seem to be ok

Ok well I vote to remove the popup/pull out frame. It annoyed me when using the forums on mobiles.
