Working for me, and telling me the depressing facts.
2.950 Mh/s using 111 Watts at $0.20 per kW makes me 16ftc and looses me 11 cents a day. :'(
The big ASICs just arrived have killed it for the smaller people.
Looking forward to neoscrypt

I have 5 GPUS from HD6850 to HD7970 idle, waiting eagerly for Neoscrypt. Will there be a linux driver for GPU?
Cryptonote coins are profitable, but no GPU miner for linux.
-
There will be one for sure, hopefully both WIndows and Linux GPU miners will be ready before release, no point changing to neoscrypt until everything is ready, but hopefully sooner rather than later.

I worked out what happens in you buy a Viper miner and use it to mine feathercoins
Hashrate: >= 250 Mh/s speed
Cost $9,000
Power consumption:
-
If your getting free power, or really cheap power then it would make sense to still mine.
I have 1.5kW of solar panels at my house so during the day I can mine essentially for free, but being I managed to get on a really good government incentive to install solar panels at my house where they buy my excess electricity back from me at $0.48 kW I make more putting it back on the grid than I can now make mining, but if I was only getting $0.08 kW like most other people it would make sense to wack up a couple of more solar panels and just mine during daylight hours with free electricty
-
I’ve just tried the figures again and if you had a free viper and free electiricty you would make $39.28 or 1559 feathercoins per day.

Thats pretty sweet. Now you just need the first two things :)
