New coins does not affect market cap?
-
I am trying to figure this out, as more coins are created, how is it that:
1. Coin price remains relatively the same ~.21 cents
2. Market Share remains relatively the same ~$7.5 million USD
Typically as more coins (or shares) are created the value per coin decreases because the market share remains the same. (Market Share / Total coins = coin price)
However, as more coins get created the price and market share remain the same??
I am a bit confused! can somebody clear this up??

Me too.
More coins.
Same price = bigger market cap.
Non comprehende. And this has been sitting unanswered for an age.

Look at these average daily prices for FTC, from https://coinplorer.com/Charts/FTC/USD
0.2079660
0.2072796
0.2118006
0.2085366
0.2064084
0.2018288
0.2125200
expressing the price as 0.21 does not give enough granularity to see the difference between 0.219999 and 0.210001, there is nearly a cent in the difference but if you only look two digits after the decimal you only see 0.21 and would think the price has not changed when infact it is about a 5% change.

It means feathercoin is very good at holding its value, historically speaking it always has been good at holding its value.
More coins do not automatically mean less value, you have to notice the difficulty has remained above 200 for a while now which means those feathercoins are getting harder to mine, this will continue will the introduction of asics, in maybe 6 months time your average size 2GHash rig will be lucky to get you 10 coins a day, if of course we continue to see more asics come online.

That is fine with the share or coin price…
Buy why doesnt the overall market cap increase with the increase of coins that are maintaining value??
That is what I am wondering about?

It does but a small trade of 100,000 coins could negate that increase.
If you do the maths, coins mined in a day by $0.20 cent it does not amount to much of an increase to the marketcap.
115,200 coins per day X $0.20 = €23,040 increase per day
