Because it has been generated by a broken daemon and there are other such blocks in the block chain. I had made a [url=https://github.com/ghostlander/FeatherCoin/commit/2753e7e0c3200cf30b01565480014654c6b352c3]patch[/url] previously to fix this, but it wasn’t included in the latest v0.6.4.4 release. -
You can accept less than 200FTC as a block reward but never more. Ghostlander created a fix for this which probably should have been applied to the last hard fork. I did hear from one source that this is an option that miners can execute but thinking about that it makes no sense.
So let’s add this to the next fork wish list.
We may want to add a new pchMessageStart for the next hard fork. So that old clients do not talk to new clients and that new clients do not talk to other networks. This is something that I should have changed at the very beginning.
With the 0.8.5 client there is the soft fork for the BDB Lock limit rule change [url=https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BIP_0050]BIP50[/url]. This will be set to an epoch time not a block.
