Simplify way to get feathercoins - easy money to FTC exchange

Hi Feathercoiners,
imho the FTC community rocks and the starting visibility in some shops and on the market are giving me confidence that it won’t die that easily. What makes it really difficult and raises the bar for newbies to FTC is that there is no easy way to get the coins.There are some exchanges available - but either with unrealistic exchange expectations due to insufficient volume or only offering the indirect way. I don’t want to push Bitcoins to get Feathercoins and I don’t like the idea that I could have invested money (even short term) in Bitcoins and getting caught by a dump during my way to exchange it to FTC.
In addition the transferring way makes me loose a lot of money. E.g. I transfer money via OKPAY to BTC-E (money transfer fee to OKPAY, exchange fee to BTC-E), buy Bitcoins (risk of dump during that time, spread between buy/sell, fee again) and transfer it to FTC (fee again). Luckily I know this way … who of the NON-enthusiasts does this?? I guess this shows that the entry level is too high and we scare people of trying it. Having everyone building a miner - no way too.
What we need in my opinion is an exchange - currency to FTC - independent from Bitcoins. What I would like to to is - transfer money (different currencies if possible - let’s start with €,$,Pound) and get FTCs for it. The other way around - later step - as we would like to have people using the coins and not doing stupid currency hopping (sorry - at least for me that is of no value). And - what is really important for this exchange - it needs to be buffered, means - instant exchange without having to wait that someone offers money for it.
Sounds unrealistic - I know - as we very few would take the risk. But maybe we can make a community thing out of it. An exchange built by the community for the community with having everyone involved also benefitting from it (full fee transparency and distribution to all - and not like many other exchanges, that only exist to generate fees and get rich by it). Actually - as I write - I think this is really a cool idea ;-) Me alone I don’t have that much time (you know - taking that risk with my family in mind) - but I can offer my skills to help building it (Java developer and agile enthusiast).
What do you think? How could it look like?
With this feature - very likely FTC has the awareness it needs. Easiest coin for trading with it. - FTC = Free Trading Coin

Have you checked out CoinMKT, or is that the exchange that you refer to that has no volume?

CoinMkt - no volume and ftc price that does not make sense.

[/quote]We have been talking to CoinMkt on Skype, they are really nice guys who want to help FTC. They could be good for Merchant adoption in the long run but it will take a critical mass of people to go over there at the same time to establish a viable market. They are going to struggle taking volume from BTCe to be honest.
If you are interested in making it work let me know and I will see if we can get a group of us to start using it at the same time.
