Have a user in IRC that just said they could not import a private key from their paper wallet so I figured I’d give it a shot and received the same error saying invalid private key.
I have taken offline while I investigate, tbh I should of realised when the Privkey began with a 6 ::) I’m not sure what is up at the minute, I’m hoping I have just added one to many version bits in there :-\ I’ll have to cross reference back to the original source, but at the minute I’m so busy with other things.
In the meantime If someone could check over the source on GitHub that would be a great help all around. GitHub
Thanks for bringing this to my attention! 8)

Can you explain the uses of an online paper wallet? I’m a little confused! I read the stuff on there and didn’t really understand why “use 1000 addresses to give each customer a different one”?
-
Is this legit??
-
What, the generator?
UK Mark is a well known professional with an excellent reputation, its 100% legit but still not finished as it seems -
Love the generator. I downloaded the nonfixed version from github and manually inserted my current keys so i could print them off. Good luck UKMark! I hope to see the fixed version soon!

You wouldn’t give your customers a paper wallet, but you might want to give them a new address via the bulk address generator, this for example would minimise the risk to the merchant by not having to have the client online on their website 24/7. -
It’s a fork of the original Bitaddress.org, so yes it’s legit, I just need to pin the issue causing invalid Feathercoin private keys, still not had chance to look. :-\
…I like it :)
Like you say It is 100% legit, I don’t do scams, although I have noticed a few of my software releases (namely FTCVanity) being used by scammers to scam people >:(
All I can suggest is people only download from or follow the links that I post.
I do intend to take a look at this source again and see if I can pin down the problem with Feathercoin private keys. :-\ -
While I may not be of much help since JS isn’t my forte, I may take a look myself to see if i can help. I just have to figure out how the pub and priv keys are generated for both bitcoin and feathercoin so i can spot the error
-
This project is important because there is no other ftc paper wallet generator out there;
In my opinion its verry important for a crypto currency to offer a QUICK SOLUTION to generate offline/paper wallets. -
So it allows people to pay into your wallet? Like a QR code address which is linked to an online wallet?
Can you put a certain amount of FTC on it and print it out? How does that even work lol? -

Should now be fixed…

As I thought I had added a few too many public key prefix’s 0x0E, private key pre-fix is now correct 0x8E.
I have tested with several generated addresses and they are all importing into the client OK! 8)

Awesome! Now to print off a few!
On my TV Screen the private keys of the paper wallets look like they begin with 6’s but upon scanning the QR Code they are actually 5’s - which is the correct format. Not sure what they look like when printed as my Kids have used all of the printer ink ::) :)
They turn out fine. The background image is a little fuzzy though but the qr scans perfectly. i wonder if its possible later to increase the size of the white border of the qr codes and possibly later add an encrypted priv key like ive seem a fork of bitaddress v2.2 have
Here’s the fork: https://github.com/Zeilap/bitaddress.org
And I uploaded it to my testing part of my website as well: http://testing.trifractalstudios.com/bitaddress/The paper wallet tab can encrypt new wallets using a password and the wallet details tab also has the ability to decrypt the private key so that you can use the encrypted key from the paper wallet. Also if you ever need to I can mirror the site later if you ever need a backup server with round robin dns.
