Next client update suggestion - equivalent FTC to USD!
-
Hello, I’m sure most of you though about this but I haven’t seen this posted yet (I commented this somewhere but lost track of it). Simply I believe it would be a great thing to implement a USD or even maybe a GBP conversion of your total FTC in your wallet, unconfirmed and when sending (in brackets like MultiBit does for Bitcoin).
Let me know what you guys think! :)

Maybe a drop down bar where you can select the conversion? So FTC to USD/EUR/GBP/BTC/etc
-
At least USD, GBR and EUR would be nice :)

Where do you get your price from?
My suggestion is to aggregate/average it across 3 or more exchanges.
Yes that is a good addition to it, make it more accurate!

Expect an announcement along these lines but more exciting.
I need to get a better handle on the timelines of our partners. Right now, we’re working on bringing all projects to the forefront so we don’t duplicate work.

should probably use a geometric mean. for n exchange rates the average is (rate1*rate2*…*raten)^1/n. As an example: avg = [(BTC-E price)*(Vircurex Price)*(Cryptsy price)]^(1/3) = [(0.00096)*(0.00095)*(0.00094)]^(1/3)=0.000949965…
