Feathercoin 0.6.4.2 - Network CAlerts removed

Anyone running the Feathercoin clients recently will have noticed that we are picking up CAlerts from the Litecoin network. Feathercoin 0.6.4.2 has a fix to disable these alerts. Alerts were introduced in Bitcoin 0.3.10 some 3 years ago now when Bitcoin was still young. This feature is somewhat dangerous as it allows individuals to send text to be displayed in everyone’s clients.

Updated and working. Great work!
This small update is also possibility to advertise for all cryptocoin users that feathercoin have really active support and development. I can see at the moment Phoenixcoin is earning credit by being only coin to publish their update information also on bitcointalk.

Compiled 0.6.4.2 on OpenSuSE 12.2 x86_64 and feathercoin-qt ist working well.
Created install packages for Debian 7, and several OpenSuSE versions, all packages provide feathercoin-qt and feathercoind for i586 an x86-64.
Packages should be available within the next hour here:
