Hi,
I would like to assist anywhere I can: coin database, web… I have a lot of experience with database, mainly sql server (I work wiith SQL server and I am an ETL developper) but also with few others like mysql,… Younger I used to do a lot of developpement in C/C++/ C# and I know also a little bit the php.
I could give a few hour: I guess 4h to 6h per week mainly the night (I live in montreal so EDT/GTM -4h)

1. I have experience with building JSON APIs as well as QR code generators, though the latter was a pretty minimal project. (ZXing is a fantastic library that made the whole thing a breeze.) I can get basic web projects up in running rather quickly and have a generally quick turnaround, so that tends to be my bread and butter. The API, QR code generator and local Feathercoin projects all interest me.
2. Tentatively and conservatively, I would say 5-10 hours, though that could increase depending upon life factors.
3. Weekday evenings, usually, though some time on Saturdays. (I’m in the US.)
4. I have experience in Java, Play! Framework, limited work in Objective-C and iOS development, Android development, and C#/.NET web stack. I have database (MSSQL/custom CRM/Entity Framework) experience, but I usually have all of my work checked by someone with more experience. Time wise, I’ve been working as a full-time developer for the last year.I love to destroy ideas and tear things apart. Basically, I love to tell people why they’re wrong and how to fix it. ;)

'd like to introduce my interests/skills. I’m a c/c++/python developer with upper-intermediate programming skills. I’m just starting to look into web development, so I’m still very far from being of any use to you guys there. I’d like to get involved in projects concerning trading platforms/quantitative analysis/exchanges (maybe p2p?). If there are any projects that are along those lines (the local feathercoin project seems really cool), I’d love to be a part of those. I hope I don’t seem like I’m getting too far ahead of myself, but I’ve really wanted to incorporate neural network algorithms into a few projects that I’ve been working on (I’m a computational neuroscience B.S, currently applying to graduate schools). I feel like there is a lot of advantages that these systems could provide to automated trading, where technical analysis usually fails miserably (especially in the crypto markets).
Once I have the room to actually devote to serious feathercoin work, I could spend upwards of 25 hours a week on development. The problem is that right now is a very make-or-break time in my career. I need to decide what directions I’m going in, because I have this whole other profession (comp. neuro. research) that I’ve been working towards achieving some level of status in, and at the same time I’ve heard the angelic choirs of cryptocurrency development calling me over. I hope I haven’t let you guys down. I’m really looking forward to learning and growing from this community.

“In response to your post, I am going to give you a little rundown on my wife and I. We are both computer science students, going on our third year, my wife is also a physics major along with her computer science, and qualifies for a math degree but physics sounds better haha. I know C++ and my wife knows C++ Assembly and machine language, along with VB and a 4.0 student, and even president of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor society at our college, basically, the smartest of the smart. Erin was also chosen to be a part of a NASA scholars program where NASA put her up for a few days and she got to work there where she was chosen to be lead program engineer and lead programmer. And She is also incredibly skilled in calculus and algebra. I am the idea guy, and she is the get it done of the two of us, were she lacks in creativity I make up the slack, and where I lack the organization skills she takes up the slack, so we make a great team. We have been married 12 years now and when we first got married I had just started an online community called NetworkDesigner.Net to help people get certified in IT certification, we were even published in a book. We sold it after 9/11 to our main advertiser and main competitor that bought it to redirect our google rank to them then bury the site, and got a pretty penny that we burnt through trying to start a hydroponic hot sauce company, big failure, but it taught us some good lessons in life. We have had other successful website businesses, mainly community type, blogontheweb, mommiesanddaddies, nerdom, practice exams and a few others, most we sold off when we needed a chunk, you know life happens raising a family. We have 3 daughters ages 6,10, and 11. We homeschool and our kids with a focus on computers. Our 11 year old was once chosen by MIT to curate the MIT website scratch (a programming website for kids) for a couple weeks, then she was asked to illustrate a kids book, and now I have her learning Maya and 3dsmax and our 10 year old is currently learning blender, and our 6 year old is learning how to keep us busy haha. Anyway if you need to know any more just let me know. We have never been involved in a project like this that we were not running the show, and the thought of not having all the responsibility on ourselves sounds really nice, just to be a part of a winning team! We do also have pretty extensive experience using Dotnetnuke, and before you ask, sorry no experience with php or simple machines, just figured I would let you know that ahead of time. Let me know if you have a position for the Luper bunch! We bought into BTC before the crash when it was in the 100 range, and I lost big, then I bought FTC when it came around and lost again really big, I guess bad timing to be putting student loan money into crypto, but I am still a believer in it, just wish I had more FTC haha
Anyways, sorry to talk your ear off,
Dave and Erin Luper”==

You may have missed the line that says I am working 16 hours a day!
I know the quote:If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The more things you do, the more you can do. - by Lucille Ball.
Getting my Head around your type of code, might take me while.
We can talk, if you can tell me more what is needed.
Quote from: justabitoftime on Today at 05:48:48 am
"Master programmer and have a small programming staff. "
If you’re looking to get involved in the programming side of Feathercoin, please let me know. We have Bushstar that full time all the way to the other side of the spectrum that donate an hour or two a week.

So Developer turns up on the forum with a name that perhaps should have been reserved with that story and no paragraphs!
I’m not sure how to progress with that one. I will contact them with something and see what happens.
-
I have now contacted everyone on your list.
Atlas is to busy right now but Aldanga said he would make a start on the API description I gave him. I am hoping he can give us some suggestions on what else is required as he has experience of APIs but I have no idea if his experience has anything to do with finance. Let’s see what he comes up with.
It would be good to find an experience person to talk to about the API as there is a good chance that the merchants do not even know what they need :)
