Help Recovering Coins \*300 FTC REWARD FOR HELP\*

Hello I have been really worried these past few days. I withdrew 4100 FTC from my btc-e account to my feathercoin-qt client on my computer. Unfortuanetly I forgot and sent it to a (out of sync) wallet that never was able to syncronize and is broken complelty. I have downloaded the feathercoin client again, and placed the wallet.dat from the previous wallet, it is synced but shows no sign of the transaction ever being recieved.
According to the FTC network it went through http://explorer.feathercoin.com/address/6of5NqW9pjvApY6mqmGsFd2DAnbbv987kx but I have not recieved it. Is there any way to recover my FTC or did I really lose 4100 FTC from sending to a broken wallet!?!? Whoever helps me retrieve my coins gets 300 FTC sent to them. Thank you!
EDIT: Thanks problem fixed! Gave the coins to the person who helped me most :)

Try to wait for 1 block to be solved, maybe that would push the transaction into the wallet? Otherwise I have no idea mate…

Well first off you want to make sure you are using the new feathercoin-qt version 6.4… After the 33000 block it is now required. Back up your original wallet.dat file from the first wallet that you sent the coins to originally… On the feathercoin-qt client where you have the “File”, Settings" and “Help” across the top, click on “Help” then “About Feathercoin”. Once that is open look on the top of the dialog box where it has the version number. Make sure you have the v0.6.4.0-**** version… v0.6.3 is the old one and will not work… Once you confirm or install the v0.6.4.0-**** version and it is up and running, then copy your wallet.dat file back into the folder where it originally came from. Wait for the wallet to synchronize completely… Hopefully it will show your balance… That is about all of the info I can offer you at this time…Good luck…

Hi, unfortunately I encounter that too. but I already solve it. :) :)
all you have to do is turn-off your firewall. then you can see now the status downloading blocks. wait till it completely up to date. when it is already up to date, you can now turn-on your firewall.

[/quote]Can you see the actual address showing up in your client as one where you can receive coins on? If so, then things will work out in the end.

Start the Feathercoin client with the [i]-rescan[/i] option - This can be done by firstly creating a shortcut to the feathercoin-qt.exe,
Then on the newly created shortcut do:
Right click >> Properties - Then in the Target box and at the very end (after \feathercoin-qt.exe) add [i]-rescan[/i] making sure to leave a space after the .exe -rescan [b]< Like so.[/b]
Click apply then click OK and then double click the shortcut.
The client will then open and your wallet will then rescan every transaction contained within and re-submit them to the blockchain. (wait for the client to fully sync with the network = Green Tick bottom right) You may have to wait a few hours to see any confirms, but this should fix your problem!
Be sure to remove the [i]-rescan[/i] option from the shortcut afterwards.

[/quote]Confirmed version is 6.4.0 and synchronization is complete. still no sign of my feathercoins. the transaction is showing up in the FTC blockchain but not my wallet! Is there any other way to reedeem my feathercoins???

[/quote]Yeah it was out of sync as it has just rescanned the transactions in your wallet and then re-synced with the blockchain, give it an hour or so they should (99.9% sure) they will appear…

[/quote]FTC wallet is showing as completly synced, the connections bar in the bottom right is green, and next to it the green tick says “Up to date” ?!?!

Just dump private keys from your broken wallet and import them into a working one.

[/quote]are the two wallets in the same computer? I would try another computer maybe with a clean OS installation, install latest client and then overwrite the wallet.dat from the broken wallet into the new wallet.
Also one more thing, why do you think the broken wallet… got boroken? Did you delete any file, malware or something like that>? -

Ok I received a 0.1 FTC payment from unknown but still not my 4100 FTC… Nope its not encrypted.

Help -> Debug window -> Console of the broken wallet.
dumpprivkey [FTC address]
Copy the private key shown. Then Help -> Debug window -> Console of the working client.
importprivkey [private key]
Restart the client. Enjoy.
