We’re 105 members away from a heavy media push. Please make sure you’re actively bringing GOOD people back to the forums. :)
I like to think I resemble that remark. :o

We are so close! When we hit 1000 members, we’ll pound the pavement hard and get some press. As a community, we need to dig deep and each bring another person over to the forums.
-
901 members… we’re less than 100 away and then full-on media blitz. Please help us get there.
-
903! Have you brought a friend to FTC today? :) I’d like to get this out by June 1st… that would be huge since we’re starting the $1000/1000 coin promotion.

953!

This isn’t the end, it’s the beginning. Birth begins with negation, it begins by growing out of the past and a realisation that the past has not finished.

One way to motivate a team is by having a dashboard with stats. Also you then measure how often the dashboard itself is measured. That tells you have much your team cares about the project and it becomes a nice virtuous circle.

We should have like a countdown to 1000 members!
How do we tell how many members there are atm? Can we break down metrics to active members?
-
That may actually be a cool idea. Back in the day i was providing hash power to boinc and folding@home projects. Some way to group our hash power into teams to compete against each other would be a fun thing to do, and may get people to promote their teams to others, which would increase hash power all around. Just a thought anyways…

Everytime on btc-e I leave messages like:

or something like that 8) -
As we start branching out, I expect to see quite a few new faces around here.

how about a free FTC for forum signup?
I know its a forced thing, but its better than a FTC faucet for the end user, and 1 FTC may encourage a little more interest. -
yay for hundreds of spammer accounts
I have to clean very little spam on here. Some people sign up and decide to not participate, I don’t judge anyone that cares to join us. If we attract 9 people that want a free FTC and 1 that might find it useful, I still think it’s worth the recruitment. I payed out thousands of ftc… some managed to stick around, it was worth it to me personally. :)

if we multi-posted on the various forums, it might show of our commitment< then again, it might show us spamming the forums as well.
