I’ve been reading a lot about mining. In fact, I my self set up a CPU miner and connected to a pool.
To be honest, I don’t think its giving me fare reward! My apologies, if this sounds harsh. I don’t mean to insult anyone who is running pools, because I am a newbie in mining.

I am trying to understand that how pools distribute work among clients connected to it. I mean there is one hash to find out that has specific level of difficulty. I read that pool can ask a client to solve a hash with lower difficulty. What’s the point of doing it. It still not gonna solve the actual block that needs to be part of solved blockchain!!!

What am I missing? Can some expert please throw some light on this topic please?

I am a newbie for FeatherCoin. I’ve been a BitCoin person, but again don’t have proper understanding of how this system work.
Can some one please explain me what happens when someone triggers transfer (sends money to some address) using FeatherCoin client? Where does the FC go and how? Who does process the transaction and how?

I found some information on internet which gives me rough idea of how its done, but still can’t understand exact technical details.
Can some one provide me link to some documentation which would explain this to me?

I am aware that the peer to peer network is the base for FTC. Found out that there are servers that process transactions. Can some one please throw some light on details. How FTC works? Any servers involved? If yes, what do that do and can I set up my personal computer/laptop as one?

I am involved in mining BTC at the time - actually working in pool. So, still a newbie. But, I’d like to know more. Can some one guide me on how can get things going?
