Actual interview doesn’t start until about halfway through.
Summary:
He said there was no pre-mining. He started mining after he made the initial forum post. He used a 7970 (I think) over the course of 5 days to get 150,000 FTC which he used up only for bounty. He’s since bought back in (to his own financial loss)
He said we need more people. The forum just got over 1000 members even though we’ve just barely started. We’re working to get merchants. We’re fixing to do a major press release across tons of websites and radio shows and other channels.
He also says some people have criticized us for trying to hard but he doesn’t believe there’s such a thing.
He wants to do a lot of work to the QT client and make it a lot more powerful.
Well, that’s it in a nutshell. I wrote this as I listened to it so it, so that’s that. Lol.

[/quote]Good summary, just before it, Bushstar was talking about the fun of mining… mining bitcoin - not really fun as it was like 0.1 bitcoin a day and there was the fun in litecoin which he was part of it, but somehow the fun was lost and so he create feathercoin to bring back the fun in mining. Bushstar the “Fun” person. :)

Plus the background sound of papers, door closing, chairs… etc… gives a visual impression of a small little office with desk pile up with lots of papers and a cranky hollow self closing door at the back.

Nice interview. Sounded a bit nervous; like somebody who is more comfortable coding than giving interviews.
I liked his enthusiasm and also his positive speak about proof of stake and demurrage concepts. Sounded genuinely like someone who is in it for the thrill and not the money.
